The Sponsors Behind Shop. Love. 618.
Wow!!! I just want to thank everyone that came out to the first Shop. Love. 618 Pop-Up market. We had so much fun with all the local vendors and really enjoyed spending time talking to so many members of the community. I’m beyond grateful for all the support.
There are three businesses that I want to talk about with you today. They have gone above and beyond to support the community, and I want to share a little about them.
Shop. Love. 618.
First, I am going to tell you a little background on our Pop-Up Series. Back in the summer, I met with Lindsay (Owner of Gabi & Grace Clothing Co.) to come up with a plan to bring some local businesses under one roof for a family-friendly event. That is where the Shop. Love. 618. Pop-Up Series began, in a small local coffee shop, so hyped up on caffeine we decided to turn the one event into three.
If you have been following along on our social, the next event is THIS SUNDAY 11/7 at The Sanctuary on Main in Troy, IL. This is the first of two events we will host in Troy, and I’m super excited about the positive responses we’ve received already.
THE BA LADIES OF BUSINESS
Now I’m getting to the good stuff. Those three businesses I mentioned earlier are the three SPONSORS for our Troy events, and they are BA (if you know what I mean 😉). It has been great working with them and we are thrilled to have them as a part of this event.

Jen and Julie came to me about being a sponsor, we were beyond excited. They wanted to show their support for the LOCAL BUSINESSES in our area by bringing this fun event to Troy, IL. In our initial meeting, we discussed their love for the community and we knew this would be a great match.
Both Julie and Jen are keeping real estate in the Family. Jen and her daughter Hanna are on a team of four who bring over 20 years of experience in buying and selling in the St. Louis Area. Julie grew up learning from her mother that was a realtor in the area for 30 years. Keeping it in the family and learning together is a huge asset to both Julie and Jen and all of their clients. Probably why they have such a great track record.

As you will see in the Q&A below, Jen and Julie grew up in the Troy area and have been lifelong friends. A really fun fact is they both worked in healthcare. Jen as a nurse and Julie and a Respiratory therapist. As a nurse myself, I know that you have to have a “passion to work with others” as Julie’s bio explains. I mean… come on! What better qualities can you look for in a Realtor?
These two phenomenal Realtors saw a way to give back to the community and create a wedding and event venue in the heart of Troy, IL. If you haven’t been to The Sanctuary on Main, you’re missing out. Everything from the tile work to the architecture will make you fall in love with it.

We love the idea of bringing new visitors and businesses to our town!
